SIGNED INCIDENCE AND A NINE-STATE TORSION WITNESS
Portable reader/reproducibility package, version 1.0 working release candidate
9 November 2026

Read addendum.pdf for the complete statement and proofs. addendum.tex is the
editable source. This is a technical addendum to Binary Order Thinning;
its one-bit theorem and seven-state neutral noncollapse are unchanged.

EXACT CHECKS (Python3.10 or newer, standard library only)
From a freshly extracted package, run:

  python verify_package.py

This checks the manifest hashes, agreement of the full relative matrices,
both integer U B V certificates, unimodularity, degree-two pairing,
individual-bit unit minors, and the four-state execution-order matrices.

To reconstruct both nine-state certificates from covers and labels, instead
run this command in a fresh copy:

  python verify_package.py --recompute

It first checks the release hashes, then runs exact_checks.py and
independent_checks.py and validates their new certificates. Reconstruction
writes checks.json and audit_final_nine_state.json beside the scripts. The
runtime field in checks.json changes, so its release hash is no longer
expected to match afterward. Keep an untouched copy for archive integrity.
The programs implement fixed-example unit-pivot certificates; they are not
general-purpose Smith-form algorithms or an exhaustive minimality search.
Do not run with Python -O, which would disable the exact assertions.

EXPECTED MATHEMATICS
Nine states, thirteen covers. K f=(9,19,10), L f=(9,10,1). Full relative
boundary9x9, determinant+2, Smith diagonal1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,2. Relative integral
H1=Z/2, H0=H2=higher=0. Both endpoints have H0=Z,H1=Z,higher=0. Inclusion
H1 multiplication +/-2 (certificate convention -2). Over characteristic2,
relativeH1 andH2 have dimension1; over any other field all groups vanish.

PDF BUILD
Use an installed LaTeX distribution with article, geometry, amsmath,
amssymb, amsthm and hyperref. Run twice from this directory:

  pdflatex -interaction=nonstopmode -halt-on-error addendum.tex

On MiKTeX add --disable-installer to prevent automatic package installation.
The delivered PDF was compiled locally with MiKTeX24.1 and all final pages
rendered using Poppler for visual inspection. The exact checks require no
LaTeX and no network. PDF creation timestamps may differ between builds;
the package does not claim bit-for-bit reproducible PDF binaries.

OTHER FILES
proof_ledger.txt maps each claim to assumptions, analytic proof and checks.
source_ledger.json gives original sources, versions, sections and source roles.
interpretation_patches.txt contains proposed inserts, not changes to originals.
The same three inserts are supplied individually in patch_refinement.txt,
patch_logical_topology.txt and patch_acquisition.txt, with exact anchors and
preservation instructions. Their manuscript body text matches the combined file.
review_summary.txt and responses_to_reviewers.txt report the AI review process
and addressed substantive concerns. This is not external human peer review.
publication_manifest.json records title, abstract, date, intended destination,
relative filenames, hashes and open limitations. It does not hash itself.

RELEASE LIMITS
No first-discovery or vertex-minimality claim; no physical-safety, consciousness,
empirical-validation or general architecture claim. The exclusiveK2,2
secondary-map problem is separate. Publication is a subsequent centrally
coordinated action. No upload or live-site change was made by this package.
